Welcome Back! Important Device Information for Sixth Grade Families

Welcome back to a brand-new school year! We are so excited to begin this journey with your sixth graders.
This year, all sixth grade students will be receiving Chromebook devices as part of our technology program. To help us with this transition, please be sure your child brings their iPad fully charged along with the charging cord and cube on the first day of school. These items will be exchanged for their new Chromebooks.

A few reminders:

• PowerSchool Parent Portal
  Please log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal to review and update your family’s contact information and complete the annual e-Collect school forms. Keeping this information current helps us maintain accurate records and ensures you receive important school communications. (Click forgot password if you do not remember password)
• Annual Device Insurance – $20
  Each student is issued a school device for learning. To protect against accidental damage, there is a $20 annual device insurance fee. This fee can be paid in one of the following ways:
  • Online at myschoolbucks.com
  • Cash (submitted to your child’s school office)
  • Check payable to Southampton Public Schools
