Reminder: Upcoming NYS ELA Testing for Grades 5–8

Dear Parents and Guardians,This is a reminder that students in grades 5–8 will be participating in the New York State ELA Assessment on Tuesday, April 21 and Wednesday, April 22. Testing will begin at 7:25 AM each day.
Please ensure that your child arrives at school on time so they can begin the test without any added stress. Tomorrow, we will be posting classroom assignments so students know exactly where to report on testing mornings.
Here are a few helpful reminders to support your child’s success:
- Make sure your child arrives at school on time each day of testing.
- Breakfast will be available at school, as it is every day.
- Encourage your child to get a good night’s sleep before each testing day.
- Our teachers have been working diligently with students on test-taking strategies and tips to help them feel confident and prepared.
