Community Service SEL Day- May 27
Good Morning,
On Wednesday, May 27, our school will be holding our final Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Day of the school year. The theme of this day will be to promote leadership, teamwork, community involvement, and giving back.Students will follow a normal school-day schedule. In the morning, all students will participate in a special assembly presented by Eagle Academy focused on leadership and community impact.
In the afternoon, from approximately 12:45 PM–2:00 PM, students will participate in community service projects both on and off campus. Students will be assigned to different service opportunities where they will work with local organizations and community partners.
Below are the potential locations for each grade level:
5th Grade
- Intermediate School
- Elementary School
- Coopers Beach
- Intermediate School

- Helping Little League at Downs Park
- Intermediate School

- Library

- Village Hall
- Police Station

If you DO NOT want your child participating in an off-campus community service trip and would prefer they remain at the Intermediate School for on-campus activities, please complete the form below. You only have to fill out the form if you DO NOT want your child leaving campus to participate in a community service project.
Students who do not attend an off-campus trip will remain at school and participate in supervised activities on campus.
